Yes!! The sheer joy in Primary 6 students all over Singapore can be felt , since the beginning of October 2021. The long-awaited, much anticipated PSLEs are all over, and we currently reside in the vacation phase before the results come out and the stressful admission procedures begin.

World Kindness Day is observed on November 13 every year. It was started in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement. Even though it is not an officially recognized day, it is popular and observed in many countries. The Kindness movement has been trying to get the UN to recognize it as an official day. According to them, the Day is to highlight good deeds in the community focusing on the positive power and the common thread of kindness for good that binds us.

With the current generation having a better understanding of emoticons than emotions, sometimes it may be challenging for the young ones (and ourselves included) to cope with emotions. With the current ongoing Covid-19 pandemic that encourages many activities to take place online, the struggle to manage emotions is real.

Time management is one of the essential life skills which even elders struggle to master. In the case of students, (without a doubt) it gets even more challenging. The focus of our young ones will most likely be on things other than their academics. Spending time with friends and being active on social media will take priority over other activities in life.
